| Park Police Officer gunned down |

The officer was shot three times in the chest while making a traffic stop in Zilcher Park in Austin. Because of some heads up work of other officers in Katy, Texas, the suspect was spotted hours later while the Katy PD was running traffic on Interstate 10.
