Seeking qualified applicants for the position of Police Officer. Enforces violation of traffic and criminal laws, regulations and ordinances.  High school graduate or possession of a GED certificate. Completion of course work at an accredited college or university in criminology, law enforcement, law, or police science desirable. Must be able to obtain APSC certification within 13-months of hire. Must be a non-tobacco user on and off duty. A valid Alaska driver's license is required at time of hire as well as a good driving record for the past three years.  Rotating 12-hour shifts full time $23.35 - $26.30/hour DOQ plus benefits.
