Ketchikan is Alaska's First City - The Salmon Capital of the World. An island community of 13,500 accessible only by air or boat.

This position enforces a wide range of violations of traffic and criminal laws, regulations and ordinances. High school graduate or possession of a GED certificate. Completion of course work at an accredited college or university in criminology, law enforcement, law, or police science desirable. Must be able to obtain APSC certification within 12-months of hire. Must be a non-tobacco user on and off duty. A valid Alaska driver's license is required at time of hire as well as a good driving record for the past three years. Rotating 12-hour shifts, full-time $23.82 - $26.83/hour DOQ, plus benefits.
