According to a recent article in the Commercial Appeal from Memphis a police officer recently found 19-year-old Darius Williams walking down a lonely stretch of Interstate 240 shortly before dawn.
Police said after asking if the officer was Jesus, Williams flipped out in the back of the squad car.

The apparently emotionally disturbed man somehow managed to push down the window and climb on top of the vehicle.

But when the officer got out and tried to talk Williams down, he ended up in a scuffle.

At some point Williams got away from the officer, got into the police car and took off the wrong way up the freeway.

Williams wrecked the cruiser shortly thereafter was taken into custody by responding officers.

Williams was charged with felony theft, aggravated assault and resisting.
