FOP says agency in need of total overhaul E-mail

The Baltimore City Fraternal Order of Police (F.O.P.) says the whole agency needs an overhaul, describing the agency’s management strategy as “outdated, ineffective and reactive.” The F.O.P. says they have a better plan that, if enacted, will bring changes that would boost officer morale and reduce crime across the city.

Cop saves cop after turnpike shooting E-mail

Another day, another life saved and another humble hero saying he was just doing his job. According to a recent article from the Miami Herald, Broward County Deputy Osvaldo Petitfrere rushed wounded Key Biscayne Officer Nelia Real to the hospital after a gunman shot her on the Florida Turnpike.

Getting vanity tags in Maryland is cheap- just $50 bucks a year. But there is a limited selection of words you can spell out on your vehicle’s license plate. According to a recent article in the Baltimore Sun, The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration has decided on more than 4,000 words, phrases and letter-number combinations that will not be allowed.

Cop's Heimlich saves Shih-Tzu E-mail

According to a recent article in Time magazine, a K-9 officer in West Hartford, Conn., saved a 10-year-old from choking by performing the Heimlich maneuver recently.
The 10-year-old was not a child but a Shih-Tzu in distress.
