Mom forced to share custody of her teen sons with ex-husband who is living with the woman who murdered their own daughters
Trisha Conlon is battling to stop Stephen, 14 and Sam, 13, from living with their father and his first wife, Kristine Cushing, at their home on Vashon Island, Seattle.
The couple are back together two decades after Cushing shot dead their two daughters, aged four and eight, as they slept at their upscale home in California.
Cushing, who was known to her friends as a 'super-mom', was found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity.
Her lawyers blamed the horrific shootings, which stunned the community, on a bad reaction to the antidepressant Prozac combined with Cushing's debilitating heart condition and the fact that her marriage was breaking down.
In 2005 Cushing received an unconditional release.after spending four years in a mental institution and a further ten with psychiatric monitoring.
