Robbery note a dead giveaway, police say
Sometimes it's hard to believe the imagination of criminals...
The 7-Eleven clerk could tell that the man robbing his store had recently been released from prison.
How? The note he handed the clerk, which said "This is a robbery," was written on the back of paperwork issued by the state Department of Correction identifying a Bruce Manlove, police said.
