Way to downplay this sociopath's actions.DESOTO, Fla. - A high school basketball player could face criminal charges after throwing a referee to the ground.
The incident occurred during a game between Florida's Port Charlotte and DeSoto high schools.

In video posted on YouTube it appears DeSoto player Mason Holland got mad after a call.
Things escalated and the referee ejected him from the game.
That's when Holland charged the referee, slamming him to the court.
"It reflects in a negative way - on the school, the school district, the country and that's why we take it extremely seriously," Cline said.
School board officials say Holland has been suspended from school and he could face criminal charges.
He didn't charge him and thus slam him to the court...the overgrown brat picked him up and threw him to the ground. 
Some kids these days, with their culture of entitlement, seriously need their asses whipped.

Umm. We have that covered here:
Code of Alabama - Title 13A: Criminal Code - Section 13A-11-144 - Harassment, etc., of sports official - Alabama Attorney Resources - Alabama Laws
Harassing, menacing, or assaulting a sports official is like doing the same to a LEO or teacher. It ups the charge ie harassment is usually a Class C misdemeanor. Harassing an official or teacher ups it to a Class B so on and so forth. The school system should ban him from any further athletics in my opinion.

wow, that would be very hard to not smack that little brat ass punk around...
and five-0 we have a very similar law here in Louisiana... and the one time I've seen something like that - the jackhole involved was banned from any sports events for like 2 years... and it happened at a Biddy basketball game... (shame his daughter played high school ball and he couldn't watch her games)-=Twan007
