A court in Lahore, Pakistan, has ordered that two men have their noses and ears chopped off, after the two were convicted of doing the same to a young woman. The anti-terrorism court also ordered that brothers Ammanat Ali, 29, and Sher Mohammed, 27, spend life in prison and pay 700,000 rupees ($8,300) in compensation to the victim, Punjab province chief prosecutor Chaudary Mohammed Jahangir said Tuesday.
The sentence was handed down Monday in accordance with Islamic law and the country's anti-terror laws, the prosecutor said.

That being said, since Pakistan is so much against terrorism, then why don't they turn over Bin Laden when he hides in their country?

That is one thing I can't argue against with some of these other countries. If we had their punishment system we would have very few repeat offenders

That's very true. Damned criminals these days need more of a deterrent to keep from offending. Maybe they would think twice if the penalties were harsher.

If our laws were like that it would be easy to spot the thieves. Suspect described as a white male adult with one hand.

The funny thing is, libs call laws like that barbaric. I think it's barbaric to allow others to violate repeatedly over the course of their lifetime. I'm sure victims of released rapists and murderers would consider it barbaric that the person who violated them could have been prevented from doing so had they been executed.

Well, after 2 convictions, most thieves would have a hard time committing a third.

Suspect was seem hopping down the street on one foot while holding the loot in the other foot... suspect tripped over uneven curbs and knocked himself unconscious. The judge ordered the offending foot removed upon conviction.
