The man accused of shutting three kids inside a bathroom for months, starving them and repeatedly raping one, said Wednesday that he – not the children – is the victim.

"The one who is being disrespected right now is I, because I’m the one who’s being abused," said 37-year-old Alfred Santiago during an interview inside the Dallas County Jail.
Authorities say Santiago kept his girlfriend’s children – ages 6, 10 and 11 – inside a Stemmons Corridor motel bathroom day and night for almost a year, maybe longer. He is being held in jail on charges of sexual assault.
Police found the emaciated kids in the bathroom on July 2, in the care of Santiago, after their mother’s brother drove from Ohio to check on the family and called police. A one-year-old girl – the daughter of Santiago and his girlfriend – was found in a crib, apparently healthy.
Alfred Santiago In Wednesday’s interview, Santiago accused the children of, among other things, raping babies and pouring urine on his infant daughter.
"What I was doing is protecting my baby daughter from her (his girlfriend’s) kids," Santiago said. "What I did was I did not leave my daughter out of my sight."
At the same time, Santiago said it was his girlfriend, not him, who kept her kids shut inside the bathroom. Authorities say Santiago stayed home during the days while his girlfriend worked at a barbecue restaurant.

The girlfriend, 30-year-old Abneris Santiago, told authorities that her boyfriend beat her and prevented her from feeding the children. She is in jail on a charge of injury to a child, accused of failing to stop the abuse allegedly inflicted by her boyfriend.
But Alfred Santiago said Wednesday the children had access to "mountains of food," claiming authorities had photos to prove it.
"They were skinny because they were not eating the food," he said. "I was feeding them, but they were not eating the food."
He accused reporters who probed him further of being out to get him, saying society is generally biased against men: "I’m a man in the United States. We’re treated very unfairly when it comes to a woman."
Abneris Santiago "If people will start looking for what they need to be looking for," he said, "they will find the truth."

No wonder those kids starved. It looks like this guy ate everything he could get his hands on.
Lock his tubby ass in a tiny room with a toilet for a year with barely any food and have some poopdick go in there and have his way with him once or twice a day.

God bless the children, they have had a lot of their childhood stolen from them. Leave me alone with the pair of oxygen theives for about 20 minutes and that problem will disappear forever. Alligators need to eat too you know.
