Oil has dropped about $15 in 3 days. The national average for a gallon of gas remains at $4.11 (per the Associated Press). Something's fucked up.

Has anyone looked at the T. Boone Pickens Plan?
He plans to build a 4,000 Megawatt windmill power farm in West Texas, where the wind is very dependable. This has the potental for saving billions of Cu Ft of natural gas, which Pickens then wants to use for powering cars.

Some people believe that the announcement of this plan actually created the recent oil price drop.
I see the components to those windmills come through town sometimes - The main segment of one blade takes an OVERSIZE trailer and an 18-wheeler. The thing is huge after they assemble it!
