What is the problem that the media is trying to invent?
Bad guy in custody and innocents unharmed, game, set, and match in my opinion.

Can't fix stupid, folks.
And Shepards we shall be,
for thee, My Lord, for thee,

That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy Command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee

The McCandless family was in the range of fire from the bad guy. He put the family in the range of fire when he made the situation occur. It was probably the reason they missed the BG was that they were concerned about possibly hitting the family... Fuhking media....

If the Mcandess family is so smart, why didn't they run when the bad guy came running up??? He only had a BB gun anyway, it wasn't even real.
Oh....wait....the Mcandess family didn't know that at the time??

What I want to know is: Why the hell didn't the media do something with their knowledge of all things just and right? They know so damn much about keeping people safe, how could they have allowed this to happen?

Mr. McAndess, when you and your family were approached by the suspect and what appeared to be a firearm was pointed at you, were you and your family placed in fear of recieving serious bodily harm?
Had you been armed yourself, is it at all possible that you would have taken action personally to prevent such harm from occurring to you or a family member?
Is it not reasonable then to assume, that the actions of the police were taken to prevent the same harm that you would have reasonably defended yourself and your family against, had you the ability at the time?
We move for summary judgement, your honor. It is evident, given the circumstances that these officers acted well within the scope of their duties under statutory definition.

I watched this on the news, you should have seen the white trash they interviewed whining about the police putting them in danger.
