DALLAS -- Two robberies and a carjacking in Mesquite that led to a chase ended with a store owner and the suspect fatally shot and a police officer shot in the arm east of downtown Dallas.

The suspect was believed to have been involved in the fatal shooting of a doughnut shop owner during the robberies of two Mesquite businesses in the 2700 block of Motley Drive at about 10 a.m.

The chase ended in the 5400 block of RL Thornton Freeway at Winslow Avenue before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police shot and killed the suspect in the parking lot.

Good job by the officers!

I found the very last picture the most disturbing.

How the fuck is a blur or a blue tarp disturbing?

How about the poor schmo who did like he was told and got killed because of it? That disturbing enough for ya NBC?

I guess Channel 5 thinks tarps are scary - Especially blue ones

They never seem disturbed about the actual murders - Only the photos.

Vine maples and sapling alders
Searched for lady slippers
But instead
Found blackberry riots and
Desiccated branches

An old skid road
Brought ghost ferns and
Hollows filled with
Skunk cabbage
While waves wrapped
Intricate lacings of weeds
'Round mule spinners

His cyanotic eyes
Were hard enough to make
The sun turn tail and
Tender enough to attract me
To his world of illusion

Yea that cop is from a huge LE family. His brother in law(same agency)is an officer who was wounded a couple of years ago in a domestic. He lost a piece of his upper arm from a shotgun blast and the same officer lost his brother who was injured in an accident (LOD) and lingered in a coma for years before he passed away.
