Quote:
Suspected Burglar Fatally Shot By Jackson Police - Jackson News Story - WAPT Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. -- Jackson police shot and killed a man Wednesday morning and are looking for a second man in connection with a series of car break-ins at a northeast Jackson apartment complex.
Police responded to a burglary call at about 3 a.m. at the Sunset Plaza Apartments on Sunset Drive off Medgar Evers Boulevard, officials said.
While responding to the call, officers got another car burglary call on the other side of the apartment complex.
Assistant Chief Lee Vance said officers saw two men breaking into a car.
One of the men ran while the other pulled a 9 mm pistol and pointed it at one of the officers. Vance said the officer shot the man, who later died at the University Mississippi Medical Center. Police have not released the name of the man nor have they identified the officer.
Police said the man that ran away is described as weighing about 240 pounds and was last seen wearing jean shorts.
If you can help police, call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS
This is the third OIS in a month in our area.

Good job! Dumb shit won't do THAT again and I bet his buddy is thinking twice about burglary as a career. Much better than incarceration and a 0% recidivism rate.

Hope the officer gets through everything quickly and gets back to work, soon.
