Arlington County Police Officer charged with sexually assaulting two fellow officers on duty
ARLINGTON, Va. -- The Arlington Police Department arrested an Arlington County police officer Monday on charges that he assaulted two female officers.
Michele Florio, 28, of Arlington, was charged with two counts of assault and battery and one count of sexual battery.
Authorities said the offenses took place while the officers were on duty. Detectives obtained warrants and arrested Florio Sept. 7.
He was released on $2,500 bond.
Florio was relieved of duty and is on administrative leave without pay pending an internal investigation.
Detectives said they will investigate whether Florio has had any inappropriate contact with any other officers.
