Out of State Lateral to TN
Okay, so I am actually giving serious thought to getting out of FL and perhaps looking into TN. I spoke with TBI and bound out that TN will accept my certification from down here. Now I just need to get an idea of where to begin to look department wise. Any suggesstions are appreciated

Apparently Memphis if you want some action. But what is so special about TN anyway? It's all mountains and trees. And country music.

Really depends on what you're looking for. Big City life? Small rural area? Speed Trap? Political department? Non-political department (good luck)?
Tech savy latest stuff department?

Any of those would be good choices. You'll note I didn't suggest Memphis, we prefer to recommend people run for their lives...
Also, you've got Brentwood, TN Bartlett, TN, and some others. what area of TN are you looking at? West/Middle/East TN?
And what payscale are you looking at, keeping in mind i'm sure from Florida, everything will seem really low paying up here, but it doesn't cost quite that much to live up here though...Last edited by Radar; 07-26-06 at 09:43 PM.
