Curious, was vbSEO really at fault or were the vBulletin guys redirecting blame on a support thread with 4000+ views? (ok, no, don't want to discuss successful attack vectors in public, it's rhetorical) I just got pretty irked when I saw that ticket was opened on the 13th and apparently nobody gave a heads up to the loyal customer here as late as last Monday. (Have they yet?) Freeware is at your own risk; the license fees on this should come with stellar support. 2¢. Hang the moron who ran the exploit from the rafters... hope I'm wrong on the customer service.

As far as I can tell -- they didn't notify the admin at the site where I'm staff, either. I passed the info you all put out along to him...
