What famous people have you met that you like?
We have the forum on famous people that we love to hate. What famous people have you met that you really like? I've only met a few "famous" people, and the one's that I liked are Charlie Daniels and George Thorogood. Both were real down to earth people, and neither had their nose on the air.

I met HRH Princess Anne once when I was in the military....
She was polite and pleasant....and appreciated that I was her 'guard'...

Most of the actors and authors that I've met have been fantastic with only one or two exceptions, but unless you read/watch scifi you probably wouldn't recognize the names. I've met quite a few mainstream authors too, and while the guys are great, the women are more likely to have an attitude.

HM the Queen. Princess Anne, Prince Charles, Princes William and Harry. Duchess of Kent. Margaret Thatcher. David Suchet (Poirot) plus quite a few other actors but they weren't that friendly. More so than the Border Police at Newark Airport though, miserable gits!
