Officer Down, France
I've just received word from a friend of mine in France, that a member of the French Gign, Fred Mortier, 35-years-old, was shot to death yesterday. We all have different feelings about national policies and such, but after getting to know my friend for the past few years, I can attest to the fact that cops are cops, whether here, in England, in France, Canada or wherever. The loss of this officer in the line of duty is a tragedy, regardless of nationality. Please keep his family, and the families of all fallen officers world wide in your thoughts and prayers.
