Just wondering--how did you find this forum? You can select as many options as applicable. "Mention by someone at officer.com, realpolice, other website, etc." includes PMs, IMs, e-mails, etc. from a friend you met at that website.

I found this forum when I saw oblique mentions of it by people at realpolice.net, and at ***********************. They mentioned some words and initials and not the exact url, but it was enough to enable me to find it through google.

One day I asked fscf3801 what the hell was he doing (he was supposed to be working at the time).

He responded that he was on a forum called LEF. The rest is history.

Someone mentioned it on Officer.com, so came to have a look. Liked it, despite the atrocious spelling, so stayed.

I was cyberstalking KatieMH and found my way over here. The site owners were so impressed by my skills they asked me to be a moderator. This was beneficial in that it allowed me to take an active role in the online law enforcement community, and I got access to Katie's info.

Terminator came onto the P1 web site as "Peppo", or something like that, and caused some good-humored ruckus... The picky mod over there locked his thread (as he locked many of mine, because matters concerning firearms and tactics should only be discussed in the Forbidden Zone, not in public)

So when the stuck-up LEO over there who always questioned my motives in bringing up issues called him "TermiteEater" and mocked his website, I naturally took that as a recommendation

Someone **cough**Brad**cough** posted a little blurb on O.com when it was launched, and I bookmarked it, joined at a later date.

I like that while it's a little more free wheeling here, there's also a quick crack down on trolls.

I was on some other site and I kept reading how everyone missed Terminator, and how he spoke his mind and then this little post came up at the end of december and everyone started making fun of the site saying that it wouldnt make it so I joined. Plus brad made me some promises of things that cannot be discussed here.
