As much as I hate this, I'm leaving LEF. I want to say thank you to alot of you guys for talking with me.

I Understand this site is for cops, I know the job gets pretty bad, and its good to vent things out here, but somethings are way to much for this civi.

My health has been a on going problem, I have short term memory problems pretty bad, I suffer from Fibromyalgia (if I spelled that right) and it's really picked up since the change in the weather.

I also was turned down because of my disabillity to help family's of fallen officers, it was a turn down, a sad one and it hurts alot.

I want to thank Reca for being a Buddy to me, he's a great man.

Growler is another one, she's a awsome lady, and many more.

I support law enforcment 150%.

to Brad, I really didn't get to know you well, but I really wanted to spread the word out to other Officers in Iowa about your site, I got no replys from you, so I guess that would be a no?

it would have been wonderful to at least get something in a PM, to at least let me know what was going on, it's ok.. I Know Reca gets his PM'S, reca where are ya? you asked Tony to clear his out so he would get yours..

Mike Pratt, father of fallen Officer "Tye Pratt" really don't want me to help, since I told him I have a problem with memory, and that CB2 helps remind me of things, I can understand where he comes from, but than again, wheres that leave me? I can't help my Illness, does this mean I can't help in some way or another?

I in no way shape or form want to take credit for nothing, I just wanted to let people know that the fallen officers have people like me to help keep their memorys alive.

this is not easy to do, I met alot of good people here. Brad, you done a great job! Reca is a really cool guy, I call a friend, and always a friend.

to all the LEO'S here, I say, keep yourselfs safe, and always remember, I support you guys/gals and yes even the K-9's...

Sorry to see you go. When it comes to Brad lately he has not been around much as he has been working extremely odd shifts and is dealing with the site basically on his own most of the time. I am sure he has gotten your PM's and just has not had the change to reply.

I haven't been here as long as others, but I really have enjoyed your posts. I would say stick around, like the others have said you never know what might come around.

Even though we didn't chat much I do consider you a friend. And let me say as a Law Enforcement Officer. Knowing there are people like you that support us helps a whole lot. We usually only hear the bad and negative from people. Actually hearing a heart felt thank-you lifts me up like nothing else can.

Agan please reconsider your decision and stay around, we all would love to have you.

As far as what Chris said, yeah, I have been extremely busy lately. I've had two relatives die recently, I'm working 8 straight days, and am running LEF mostly alone as Will is having internet connectivity issues...plus a lot more. I haven't forgot about you. It's nice though for people to keep in mind I am a full-time LEO, and work an odd, and hectice schedule, then add my personal and social life, taking care of my dog, and hooking up with random chicks, and bam....little to no free time.

CRC - I don't think you should take it personal that Brad didn't personally say you could recommend this place to anyone. He probably gets more pm's then he can check every day, and running a MB is very time consuming. I'm sure he expects/trusts us to use our best judgement when inviting new visitors.

It sounds like you have more then one serious health issue to work through, and if taking a break from here helps you focus on your health, then you know what's best for you.

Exactly!!! Glad you understand PDawg. It is not out of the ordinary for me to have 6 or 7 PM's when I log on, waiting for me, and approximately 10-20 e-mails.

Last month I decided to take a hiatus from LEF, just to clear my head, get over some drama, and get off the computer for awhile.

I hope that you'll find myself in the same spot I was in. Even though I took my "hiatus" I still checked the site almost daily....LEF is like a drug!!

I enjoy reading your ideas and opinions, and hope you reconsider. If anything, take a "hiatus" from LEF, but don't leave us for good.
