I saw that awhile back, and was floored. I then found out that he's the POA president rather than the actual chief. If he was the chief, it would have been career suicide, although an extremely honorable one.

he's 100% right! it's always the cops, and not the bad guys. we need more judge Judy's in the world, she takes no crap off of anyone.

Why is it that I never see Chiefs with balls enough to do this?

I happen to think that any Chief that does this & gets fired for it would wind up being the new Mayor or Congressman, myself... But maybe that's just me.

Yeah I know... Meanwhile 200+ people are murdered in Dallas per year (not even counting Fort Worth or any of the suburbs), probably a good number of them by scum like this that have been in & out of the system all their lives.

Luckily, a good portion of those are scum-on-scum killings.
