Last of the radishes
It has been pretty hot lately and a lot of the cold frame crop is about to bolt.

A lot of these had already gotten woody.
Final harvest.

EATING WEEDS!!!
Wild Spinach (Lambs Quarter) Information, Recipes and Facts
This grows all over my property every year.

I pulled a bunch of these plants and harvested the leaves.

In a saute pan melt a little butter, add salt and pepper to taste.

Add lambs quarter leaves

Saute on medium heat until leaves are wilted. YUMMM

Great as a side dish or use as you would in any recipe that calls for spinach! To Live Is To Eat

Squash/Zucchini
A happy zucchini plant.

A not so happy zucchini plant.

From what I could tell, squash bugs have invaded this plant. They apparently got to the base of the plant. I went through all of the plants and harvested what I could.
We also harvested our first green beans!

Quite a few blossoms were still attached. These are going to be the appetizer later.
I sprayed this area thoroughly with liquid sevin. To Live Is To Eat
