The task force is willing to travel anywhere in the country. The team will use a state-of-the-art, fully accredited, newly licensed crime lab in Southern California.

The lab will guarantee fast-track DNA and forensics lab work for cases referred by the Homicide Task Force. The costs will be picked up by Invasion TV, a Los Angeles-based television and film production company that’s producing the show.

Peavy says they have assembled an impressive “A-Team” of experienced and motivated homicide detectives. “Between us we have more than 10,000 homicide cases and more than 100 years of investigative experience under our belts,” Peavy said. “We’ll work hand-in-hand with agencies across the country and help them solve their toughest cases.” Peavy is quick to point out that the show will be totally authentic because real cops will be involved in all aspects of the show.

“They’ll be in front of the camera, they’ll conduct the investigations and they’ll be behind the scenes during the production of the show – real cops telling it the way it really is. This show will be the real deal.” Actual cases will be talked about on the show in hopes the public will call in if they have information. The viewers will get a rare chance to see how homicide detectives really work a case and have a possible chance to be involved in its outcome.

“We know from experience that media attention often is the key to solving these cases,” Peavy continued. “We’re certain the show will provide a safe way for people to come forward with new information that could lead detectives to their ultimate goal.” Members of the Homicide Task Force are inviting law enforcement agencies from around the country to call if they have unsolved cases they would like to take a fresh look at.

“Working closely with your department, our team will assist your detectives in solving complicated investigations and cold cases that you may have had a tough time clearing,” Peavy says.

“By putting our resources at your disposal and combining our efforts with your team with both of us working together, some of these cases may get resolved.” Agencies interested in this project are welcome to contact Captain Peavy and the other members of his team.
