LAPD now has LAMBO E-mail
Written by Mark Nichols

The Los Angeles Police Department recently added a stunner of a Lamborghini Gallardo to its fleet of squad cars. The price tag of $182,000 comes with a top speed of almost 199 miles per hour.
The Lambo features the traditional black and white law enforcement colors and the LAPD logo.

The paint job was done by Galpin Auto Sports- the automobile dealership and repair shop which was featured as the main garage in the fifth season of MTV's "Pimp My Ride".

Unfortunately for LAPD officers, the vehicle has been designated solely for the purpose of promoting the department.

But don't expect to see this decked-out police car speeding through highways in car chases like in video games.

The Gallardo will only be used to promote the LAPD during charity events and recruitment, according to NBC Los Angeles.

A local business owner donated the vehicle, which will also have a website as well as a Twitter and Instagram accounts.

But man oh man, wouldn’t it be sweet to light somebody up in that Lambo.
